How The Gifts of the Holy Spirit Are Obtained: By Lizzie Ducking- The Gifts of the Holy Spirit are Gifts, they are available to us if we desire them and because they are Gifts, they can not be earned. Nothing that we could ever do will earn us merits to obtain them. The only thing that we could do would be to receive them and apply them to our lives.
Paul was the King of teaching and man of mighty signs and wonders. Penning one third of the New Testament he had the right to speak on the gifts of the Holy Spirit and in 1 Corinthians 14 he speaks especially about tongues, prophecy and proper church policy.
