The Momiji doll was developed in the United Kingdom in October of 2005 as a friendship gift. The first set was called The Randoms and there were twelve dolls in the set. Today The Randoms have 7 generations. Along with the Randoms, are sets for Celebrations, Christmas, the Itchy feet dolls, and The Love collection. Each doll is hand painted and designed making them all different and unique gifts. The secret to the Momiji is that, along with the warm fuzzy feeling you get when you receive one, in the bottom of each doll there is a card hidden inside. These cards tell you about that individual doll and often include a note of caring from the person who gave you the doll. Each comes with a different sentiment attached.
